Studies in 2001 showed that the average online user was not that satisfied with their online gambling experience. Studies show that 31% of online gamblers were not that happy with their chosen casino. To make matters worse is that only 15% of casino frequenters say that online gambling is more fun than stepping foot into a real casino. Casinos are working on these issues everyday and you can frequently see “fun”updates to online casinos. The worst news for online casinos is that the average gambler only spends $10 at the casino during each session.

Black Jack for Beginners

Posted by admin in Gambling Articles pa... | 05.07.2009 - 8:40 am

Black Jack is a casino card game where the object is to accumulate cards and reach a running total of 21 without going over. Face cards have a value of 10 and aces can be used as 1 or 11. The rest of the cards have a value as indicated on them. You play against the dealer and not other players. Your goal is to get closer to 21 than the dealer and avoid going over at all costs. Getting over 21 is called a bust and causes you to lose your bet. Should the dealer go bust everyone at the table wins as long as they haven’t busted themselves.

Choosing the right table to play blackjack at is just as vital for your cash flow as making the right plays. Things to consider when deciding on a casino or table are:
1) Fewest decks possible. Single deck is ideal for counting.
2) The dealer stands on all 17s.
3) Doubling Down is permitted on any first 2 cards.
4) Doubling Down is allowed after Splitting.
5) Surrender is offered.

Also check to see how deep a dealer penetrates into a deck before reshuffling. You should never play a table where the dealer penetrates less than 50% or 60%.

Blackjack : Advanced Card Counting

Posted by admin in Gambling Articles pa... | 05.07.2009 - 8:38 am

The top system is the world is tracking high and low cards in a deck. There are 16 ten value cards in the deck on the high side. For the low we track 3 through 6, or 4 through 7. Aces are not counted, and neither are 2, 8, or 9. So you start with a 16/16 tally and work our way down. When one card from either side is played just deduct it from your tally. When the ratio is in your favour ( small ratio eg. 7/14) increase your bets. The deck is in your favour. When the ratio is high lower your bet or sit out.
